Recruitment FAQ's

How long is each interview

First round formal interviews are 10 minutes long. Our social session is 25 minutes long. Final round interviews are 15 minutes. 

What if I don't get in?

While we wish we could accept everyone, our process unfortunately results in some rejections. We encourage all candidates who did not get in to reapply and interview again the next semester!

What is the time commitment? 

Being a new member of SWPA is a moderate time commitment. We offer ample events each week to ensure members have plenty opportunities to fulfill their point requirement, but time needs to be set aside throughout the semester for SWPA!

Where is recruitment held?

Recruitment rounds are held in buildings on campus. The specific location of each round will be made clear to candidates via email and through our social media. Candidates will check in with our Recruitment Committee and will then be sent to a separate interview room for our formal interview rounds. 

What is the dress code?

SWPA's social session round is business casual. First and final round interviews are business professional.

When will I find out if I am advancing?

After each round concludes for the evening candidates will receive an email notifying them of SWPA's decision. Candidates selected to advance on will receive a link to sign up for the next interview in their decision email.
