SWPA is focused on growing and developing the professional acumen of members by leading interactive workshops, hosting guest speakers, and providing a variety of resources for all members. Members are not expected to have much professional experience, SWPA is here to help!

Interactive Workshops

Our interactive workshops help develop member's baseline professional skills. Some of these workshops include resume and cover letter building, interview preparation, LinkedIn tutorials, internship panels, and more!

SWPA's VP of Professional Development and the Professional Development Committee work hard to craft and lead these workshops for our members.

Guest Speakers

SWPA strives to host multiple professional speakers each semester. Our speakers represent a variety of professional industries and fields, and we put emphasis on having women speakers. 

The speakers we host provide members with future career advice, a glimpse into life in their field, and give our members the opportunity  to create a new connection.

Study Groups

To give our members time to collaborate and interact with one another further, SWPA hosts multiple study parties a semester. Members may choose to work silently, or can work together!

These events provide our members with a productive environment to help facilitate their academic success.
