Service Pillar

Making a positive impact on the community is an integral part of SWPA. Since being on campus our organization has raised awareness for various causes and has put together various service and fundraising events to support different organizations and nonprofits. We want to give back in and outside of our community using our own strengths, passions, and interests.

Girls Love Mail

Writing letters for Girls Love Mail, a service that collects letters to distribute to women battling breast cancer.

Gathering donations to support feminine hygiene equity.

Annual Walk for Women

  • Every Fall semester SWPA plans and executes the annual Walk for Women event. This event brings together women in and out of SWPA and encourages them to donate a feminine hygiene product or $3 to walk around UIUC's Quad. The money and products are donated, and women get a great workout in while meeting new people!
